Warner Home Video have announced the US Blu-ray Disc release of The Shawshank Redemption, Frank Darabont’s prison drama, on December 2nd.  The Shawshank Redemption is based on the Stephen King short story, and stars Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman.

And that’s not all!  The Blu-ray will also come housed in Warner’s Digi-Book packaging, which includes a collectible booklet with rare photos, production notes and more.
