The Pink Panther Sneaks onto Blu-ray Jan. 20th

Pink Panter Cover ArtSony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced a January 20th Blu-ray release for the 2006 remake of The Pink Panther starring everyone’s favorite funny-man Steve Martin.  When it comes to the character of Inspector Clouseau we never really know what to expect.  Fortunately, for us, Sony has released the final specs for the Blu-ray release to take away from the guessing.

The Blu-ray release will be presented in a 1.85:1 1080P AVC video transfer accompanied by a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround soundtrack.

The final specs which include:

  • CODE PINK animated graphics-in-picture track featuring an animated Pink Panther (BD Exclusive)
  • Commentary with director Shawn Levy
  • 11 deleted and extended scenes with optional director’s commentary
  • Beyonce music video “Check On It”
  • Cracking the Case documentary
  • Animated Trio
  • Deconstructing the Panther
  • Sleuth-Cams On Set
  • Extended Beyonce Performance “A Woman Like Me” with optional commentary
  • BD-Live enabled
