I finally got around to watching this the other day, and enjoyed this an incredible amount. The cinematography was a labor of love, and the plot wasn't that incomprehensible. A bit of basic research before viewing the movie made it very enjoyable for me, and I plan on viewing it again. Plus Rorschach has to be one of the best film heros/anti-heros I've ever seen. It's not teh greatest movie ever made, by far, but I will give it a chance and see if the Director's Cut is any better than what I saw in the theatre. I do disagree on your review of the movie as I found it to be an awesome movie and will be getting the Blu-Ray at some point. Also important to put out there but supposedly by the holiday season, there is supposed to be a 5-disc monster of this out there. I'll probably hold off for that one. Excellent review. I enjoyed the graphic novel and the movie stays true to it but seriously, cut the runtime down. It's almost as if the director tried putting every aspect of the book on film. It's far too much.
