Having been released earlier this year, The Deal went completely unnoticed by mass audiences despite starring some recognizable names including William H. Macy, Meg Ryan, and LL Cool J. Adapted from the Peter Lefcourt novel of the same name, William H. Macy takes the writing credit for the film version along with Steven Schachter the ladder of whom directed the film. The two actually have a long, and continuing history of writing films together, in which Schachter directs and Macy stars. Having not seen any of their previous endeavours I have no expectations of The Deal, but based on the cast it already has potential. Continue Reading
